Worker...
Wipes the tears that fall from small but anxious eyes
Offers an inviting lap for those missing a mommy
Jumps, dances, spins and turns to create a lively atmosphere
Runs little trainers to the potty a dozen times
Prepares snacks and teaches prayers
Sets aside the needs of her/his own children to meet the needs of others'
Kisses boo boos
Shows His Love
Offers a smile--no matter what
Shares His Word
Finds new clothes for a little trainer who forgot she was training
Notices a new dress
Compliments a new haircut
Cleans a million messes
Listens with much interest to a story that is way off topic
Loves a lot!
The Worker...just doesn't seem to be a fitting title for a volunteer who serves in my ministry.
